Puckline Press is free to read, with no account needed. We collect as little as possible and never sell your personal information.
What we collect
- Nothing to read the site. No account, no sign-up.
- Visitor statistics. We count page views with a privacy-friendly service (GoatCounter) that uses no cookies and doesn't track you across other sites. It records things like the page, the referring site, the browser type and a rough location based on your IP address, which is not stored.
- Your email, if you subscribe to the email edition. It's handled by our newsletter service (Buttondown), used only to send you the email edition, and removed when you unsubscribe using the link in every email.
- Notes you send us through the feedback form: what you write, plus a name or email only if you include them. We use them only to read and reply.
Other services the pages use
Your browser also loads team logos from the NHL's servers, and the site is hosted by GitHub Pages. Those companies can see your IP address when your browser contacts them, under their own privacy policies.
Cookies

Children
The site isn't meant for anyone under 21, and we don't knowingly collect information from children.
Your choices and rights
You can unsubscribe from emails at any time. Depending on where you live (for example California), you may have the right to know, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you. Email pucklineprince@pucklinepress.com and we'll respond within 30 days.
Changes and contact
We may update this policy at any time and will change the "Last updated" date above when we do. For significant changes, such as a new use of the information we collect, we'll post a notice on the site and email subscribers before the change takes effect.
